So, uh…guess who’s on Wattpad?

I hope you guessed me because I now realize that I could be asking that question about…literally anyone else. Because there are definitely a TON of people on Wattpad.

Anyway, yeah! I’m on Wattpad!

I was trying to post my creative pieces (specifically my nonfiction ones) to Medium, but I was noticing that Medium isn’t quite the place for “creative” works. Rather, it seems better for articles and opinion-based pieces. When it comes to the platform itself promoting your content within Medium, it definitely serves articles and opinion-based content better. I still plan to contribute content to my Medium page, because I still love writing  articles and opinion pieces, primarily around the queer community, but I wanted a place to showcase my writing that was a better fit for the content.

Wattpad has so many resources for people looking to publish creative fiction/nonfiction, and the community on there is actually looking to consume that kind of content. I’m so glad I found it, because it definitely made me more excited to be writing some shorter pieces to post on there!

Speaking of which, I just recently posted a new story on my Wattpad page! I wanted to bring a creative, narrative-style take on how my New Year’s eve went, and I really liked how it turned out. It sums up the feelings and events that happened in the five minutes leading up to midnight, and the few moments after that transition into 2020. Let’s just say that, without giving too much away, it definitely wasn’t the kind of night that I was expecting.

I hope you enjoy the piece, and I hope you enjoy the pieces I plan to post on there! It’ll be nice to have some free pieces of writing mine out there for people to discover on a platform that’s more conducive for it.

And don’t forget, if you want any extra writings of mine, or additional excerpts or behind-the-scenes content, you can always support me via Patreon! Just $1 per month would get you early access to all creative works, exclusive updates, and behind-the-scenes content!

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful 2020 so far! Feel free to let me know what you hope to accomplish, this year in the comments!
